About Hands Off Danbury
Hands Off Danbury was formed in October 2016 in opposition to Gladman’s proposed development of 140 houses in Danbury, Essex as well as other proposals.
We wish to make it very clear that we are not against housing development in the village. We understand the need for new housing but it must be sustainable. The proposed Gladman development does not fall into this category.
If you too are opposed to the proposed development, now is the time to make a formal objection!
It is important to note that we are very short of time. Objections must be received by Chelmsford City Council by Wednesday 7th December 2016. if they are to be considered.
The HOD steering committee has been working hard on your behalf to investigate valid objection points, in order to provide some guidance to assist you in preparing your objections letter, if you wish to do so.
In the interest of improving communication, we have also set up a dedicated email address for the campaign: firstname.lastname@example.org. If you are happy to receive emails from us, and we shall endeavour to keep communication to a minimum, please send us a brief confirmatory email so that we can add you to our database. Please remember that each and every adult member of your household will be entitled to submit objections to the Council, so if we can have the email details of each and everyone who wants to get involved it will greatly aid the campaign.
